The Grandeur walk-in tub is our bariatric bathtub. It has a large 32” wide outward-swinging door and a 30” wide seat, allowing for more room and comfort. Like all of our tubs, it comes with high-flow taps and stainless steel hoses. In addition to the rest of the included standard features, it is CSA certified and can also be equipped with any of our upgrade options.

What sets Safety Bath walk in bathtubs apart from other walk in bathtubs?

Our Safety Bath products are manufactured from high quality, durable materials. An example is our unique Aluminium Door System. Most of our walk-in tubs also come with a high flow tap.
How do I clean the tub?

For everyday cleaning, a soft cloth with mild soap and water is all you need. Always rinse after cleaning. Do not use scouring pads or abrasive/caustic cleaners. ‍ Vinegar and water may also be used to soften water minerals. To disinfect, use bleach diluted with water to sanitize.
May I use soaps or bath oils?

Yes, however we do recommend that you sanitize the tub after using these products.
What colors are available for the tubs?

You can choose any colour you like, as long as it's white.
What is the fill time?

Our valve has an 14 gpm (gallon per minute) rating. With full water flow, it will take about 4 minutes to fill.
What finishes are available for the faucet and hardware?

A chrome finish is available for the faucet and other hardware.

Are Safety Bath products CSA- and UL-certified for Canada and the US?

Safety Bath has CSA (Canadian Standards Association) for Canada and the US and ANSI (American National Standards)/UL (Underwriters Laboratories) approval on the bathtubs and on all the components of the bathtub. CSA marks mean a product has been tested and has met applicable standards for safety and/or performance. CSA International is accredited by the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) as a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL). CSA International tests to applicable U.S. standards.

High-Flow Taps

A common question of all walk-in tubs with doors is whether you have to sit in them while they fill. You do. But our high-flow tap is designed to produce a flow rate of 14 gallons per minute, meaning you won’t be waiting long. This allows our walk-in bathtub to fill in under four minutes!

Aluminum Door

Our extruded aluminum doors and door frame are the strongest on the market, ensuring years and years of problem-free use. The long-arm door release is simple to maneuver with very minimal effort. And with our innovative latch system, you’ll never accidentally release the door.

Stainless Steel & Acrylic Tub

Our tub shells are made of easy-to-clean acrylic on a strong stainless steel frame, blending the best of comfort and durability for a bathtub you’ll never need to replace.The floors of our tubs also have a slip-resistant texture to avoid slips and falls.

2" Quick Drain

With all walk-in tubs, it’s necessary to wait for them to drain before exiting. We make this a minimal hassle with our 2” quick drain that allows the tub to drain in 90 seconds or less (dependent on your home’s water pressure and plumbing).
